Whilst the two drawings below do look pretty hot, it is unfortunate that they are not fetish artworks, or even indeed forms of medieval tortures, but serious medical drawings from the past! Seems it was perfectly okay to chain and tie a woman down for gynaecological examinations in the late 19th century, or that the best way for procedures involved metal restraints! And whilst I would be absolutely interested in either of these techniques for a medical play session, can't say they would encourage me to attend the doc when smear test time comes around lol!

Is is incredibly scary the stuff women were subjected to in the name of medicine!
@Madame de la Forrest - it certainly is! I think one way to look at it is that if the awful stuff had not been done then maybe they would not be so capable and knowledgeable today.
Perhaps no anaesthetic?.
Seriously, the top picture would suggest a diy replacement for the "stirrups"
